As Diwali and Halloween are around the same time this year I wanted to do a fun twist. Celebrating Diwali and experiencing Halloween growing up in the UK I have come up with this Eyeball Rasmalai. I've put a twist on the name and called it Rasma-Eye. This is how I made them.

Ingredients:
Angoori Rasmalai
Edible Eyes
Rose syrup or any red coloured syrup
Method
I have used the Angoori Rasmalai from the recipe I shared before this one. Taking one rasmalai ball at a time I placed an edible eye in the centre. This has to be done carefully as the rasmalai balls are delicate and can break. A few of mine did crack a little.
I pressed the edible eye at an angle into the rasmalai to set it in place. Do these with the rest of the rasmalai balls.
Place the rasmalai balls with the edible eyes on a plate. Add these at the time of serving as when the balls swirl in the rasmalai milk the black on the eyes eventually dissolve. And sometimes the eyes can slide out. When you are ready to serve add the rasmalai balls into the rasmalai milk and drizzle over some rose syrup to give the look of blood.
This fun and quirky eyeball rasmalai is ready to serve for a spooky Diwali.
