Leelo Masalo translates to Green Masala and consists of ginger, garlic and green chillies. This is also know as 3G paste and whos alot in Gujarati cuisine, especially in my family.

Ingredients:
Ginger
Garlic
Green Chillies
Method:
I have not given any quanitites as I believe you can adjust the amounts to your preference. My mum uses a similar amount of ginger and garlic, maybe slightly more ginger. And for green chillies it really depends on how spicy they are. You can always adjust the amount of green chillies to your heat preference and you can use any kind. I have used finger chillies here. You want to peel and cube your ginger and garlic and wash your green chillies.
Place them into a grinder and grind away. Keep the mixture coarse, you don't want it in liquid form or really smooth. Grind in pulse modes to avoid getting the mixture too smooth.
Once ground you can store this in an air tight container for around a week or two in the fridge. What I do is freeze them in small balls and take them out when I need them for cooking.
